In 1994, he participated and won the Sanremo Festival in the “Nuove Proposte” category, gradually becoming more famous and appreciated as both a tenor and a pop singer. One of his most famous and iconic songs is “Con te partirò,” which received double platinum certification. He also gained international fame and even has a star on the Walk of Fame, making him one of the few Italians to receive this honor.
In 2011, Andrea Bocelli founded the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at combating poverty and inequality through intervention programs.
He has been married twice. His first marriage was to Enrica Cenzarotti, with whom he has two sons, Amos and Matteo, born in 1995 and 1997, respectively. He later divorced and remarried Veronica Berti, who gave birth to their daughter Virginia in 2012. The couple got married in 2014.
